I want the show to be able to find its feet. I don't think season four was bad by any means. I mean, it's not nearly the same level of quality that it was in the first three seasons, but a few episodes, in particular the puppet episode and the Thanksgiving episode, were really good. There were just points where the show didn't know what it wanted to do. It's understandable because so many people that were such a big part of the show left, especially Harmon. I mean, Breaking Bad would struggle to find itself too if they took Vince Gilligan out of the equation. The show should focus on the characters instead of just focusing on what they can make homages too. Obviously concept episodes are a big part of Community, but the best concept episodes of this show ("Modern Warfare", "Paradigms of Human Memory", "Remedial Chaos Theory") don't work simply because of the concepts, but because the characters bring these concepts to life. I also hope they fix relationships, because I don't think it would've made a SINGLE DIFFERENCE if Troy and Britta weren't going out. They're just there, and it's weird.
and that's the waaaaaaaaaay the news goes

More news on this ish: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-f ... urn-561654
Chris McKenna, writer of the two best episodes of Community ever ("Remedial Chaos Theory" and "Paradigms of Human Memory"), has not only returned to the show, but is Harmon's co-showrunner. Also, apparently Sony might have Dan Harmon do commentary tracks of him watching season 4 for the first time. If that happens, I am so so SO buying that DVD.
