Yeah Yuria's kind of a down point in the series and the last part of the first series gets a little tedious
Plus the whole Nanto bloodline part was wasted, there ain't enough female fighters, only Mamiya and that one assassin that used roses, and even then Mamiya was more tool-assisted (mind you very impressive use of weaponry at times, especially in Ken's Rage)
Hilariously for a little kid Lin manages to be more ballsy in later episodes. At one point she clobbers a mook over the head with a mace that's easily the size of her, and later would rather face death
by walking over hot coals than be branded by Ken-Oh's mark.
This is easily one of the most violent series out there, but it does go very nicely with the atmosphere of a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Kinda lame that they really toned down Ken's tears, he's surprisingly compassionate for a guy that can easily take down an entire army. And a tank.

(also refreshing that it doesn't used GIANT EYES DESU DESU BIG HEAD anime proportions, the later movies look great while improving the original style)
