^^^Associate's degrees or core-curriculum supplements are 2-year programs. Bachelor's degrees are still 4-year.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Not one of the stronger episodes, but I still really enjoyed it overall. A little too unfocused, but they are back! And I was glad about ratings too - they had one hell of a twitter campaign the week leading up to it, and it looks like it was effective.

But yes, overall, the episode had too much going on. Each subplot could have been expanded upon as it's own episode. I hope it's a little more focused from here on out.

omg i was so excited to see the return of Community! It took way too long! With that said, the episode was a little confusing haha, but i'm looking forward to more.

For two seasons we wanted to do an episode where Jeff Winger pretended there was a class called ‘Nicolas Cage Appreciation,’ and then the Dean caught them and as punishment to them he was going to make that a real class and force them to watch all the Nicolas Cage movies in one night. The thing about Nicolas Cage movies is… unless you’re a total cynical dick, you have to embrace the fact that Nicolas Cage is a pretty good actor. He’s done a lot of weird, dumb movies, but that was supposed to be the point of the episode — that Nicolas Cage is a metaphor for God, or for society, or for the self, or something. It’s like — what is Nicolas Cage? What is he? Is he an idiot? Or a genius? Can you write him off, or is he inexplicably bound to your soul?

That was a quote from Dan Harmon on an episode they almost did. THINK OF THE POSSIBILITIES
and that's the waaaaaaaaaay the news goes

^That sounds amazing. I kind of hope that idea is still alive, because that would be hilarious.

I do hope that they could continue with their unique writings for the episodes. So far Community has been one of my favorites due to the fact of those episodes. Like the paintball tourny, the 8bit episode, the D&D episode, and the Multiverse episode.

It's sad though that Chevy Chase left the show.

^I'm actually okay with his leaving. The character started with potential, but I find that Pierce's story lines are mostly the weakest and just not as funny as the others; Chase just doesn't have what it takes to really fit in with the show. Plus, the negativity is old.

I'm okay with Chevy leaving, too. I don't know in what episode he's leaving (because they haven't aired that yet) or how he leaves (does he live or die?), but if someone could tell me, I'd be very grateful.

Also, I don't much care for horse-faced Nicolas Cage and his breathy, monotone drivel. I do, however, care for Andy Samberg's impression of Cage because I find what he says about the actor he's pretending to be to be very true.

"No! I never read ANYTHING! Including the scripts of the movies I'm in! That's why my characters always look SO SURPRISED! I'm finding out the plot twists at the EXACT same time as the AUDIENCE!"

^ I wish that Pierce dies in the series, that would be a great story line.

ABED: Pierce is dead...this is just like that timeline where we're all evil and Pierce is dead!
TROY: Wait, sorry, did you say something about a timeline?
ABED: The less you know, the better.
