Not sure what to think of the whole brony.doc thing in general. Like, the trailer makes it seem like rather an apologia for the brony deal, trying to demystify it for outsiders, maybe stop them dismissing bronies as creeps and weirdoes out of hand...and then the animated portion goes out of its way to bring up the creepy weirdo-ass Rule 34 bit of the fandom. Seems a little schizoid. I don't know.

Just watched 'Keep Calm and Flutter On'. Didn't think much of it, honestly. The resolution felt like rather a contrived cop-out. [spoiler]Not to mention a waste of a terrific villain. Like, all right, if we ever see Discord again in the show, what are the odds he's a tithe as much fun as a good guy as he was when he was bad? I ask you.[/spoiler]

I could forgive the ending if [spoiler]it was all a ruse on Discord's part[/spoiler], because then it would actually be fairly clever to end the show like that. Granted, it probably won't go that way, but I can dream.

I'm still disappointed off that Hasbro sent that cease & desist order to the Fighting is Magic guys. TV show: great. Parent company: no fun allowed.

Yeah, I'm a little leery of how legal that even was. Fighting Is Magic was fair use, and from what I can tell, fair use preceeds the interests of the copyright holders. Granted, I'm not exactly a law student, so don't hold me to that, but that's what I've gathered from my research.
