As you all know, the new season begins November 10th with two episodes...

What are you hoping for in the new season?
If you had a say in a celebrity doing voice-acting for a pony, who would you choose?
And if by some crazy stroke of luck you could name a new character, what name would you choose?

While I will not watch the preview, those episode titles sound interesting. I'm hoping S3 will be as good as everyone thought S2 would be.

Apparently the GREAT and POWERFUL TRIXIE is making a comeback, most likely with that there title referencing magic and duels. Only episode I'll care to see unless another Luna episode comes out.

In the meantime I've got some manly shows to catch up on. Like Justice League. Now THAT beats the socks off most anything Marvel's thrown out animation wise.

^^I'd do it, if it weren't an admin's topic. Somehow feels...impertinent to muck about with it.

Incidentally, this may sound almost sacrilegious, but I might be even more hyped for some of the fanworks just now than for the show itself. I mean, don't mistake me, I'm totally looking forward to Season 3, but I'm, like, champing at the bit for the Turnabout Storm finale and the conclusion to the whole PONY.MOV/Ask Jappleack what-have-you. Maybe I'm just sick, but there it is.

So I caved and watched the 8 minute preview.

I wonder what's bothering Luna.

While [spoiler]King Sombra was a bit of a nothing[/spoiler], the rest of the episode was very nice. It had many humorous moments, and was fairly interesting otherwise. Hopefully S3 will be what everyone was hoping S2 would be.

I liked the premiere. I really like the jousting armour they have, and the Fluttershy costume was nice. The illusion door was feels all over.

Reddit's speculating about all the foreshadowing there was: [spoiler]King Sombrero's horn that was thrown clear, the Starry/Swirlly book that Luna pulls up in the end, and hints about the Trixie episode coming up[/spoiler]

Season premiere was pretty good, but i thought it could have been better as a three parter [spoiler]with King Sombra actually coming back to power for a time[/spoiler]
