Well, not having seen the Cap or Thor movies (or the Avengers one, for that matter), I guess 'Iron Man 3' is closest to having me hyped.
I don't know. All this intertwining of movies is leaving me cold---like, I quit reading Marvel's main-sequence comics back in the day because I was sick of the old 'if you want to know what's going on in this issue you have to read these three other comics too hah hah excelsior and sh*t' malarkey, I don't especially want that in my movies now.
Ant-Man is garbage. Nobody wants a damn 'Ant-Man' movie. Seriously, if Marvel wants to make a movie that there's literally no audience for, they might as well just go the whole nine and do one about Cyclops. Or maybe throw together a Howard the Duck sequel---I bet Tim Robbins would reprise his role from the first one in exchange for a nice hot meal.
God, but 'Ant-Man' is irritating. That pukey second-stringer gets a legit big-ticket release, but Marvel can't be bothered to make a Punisher movie that doesn't stink on ice? Ugh.

Maybe it's just me, but giving your 2nd batch of movies the same name as the secret weapon-development project the heroes all opposed in the finale of your 1st batch of movies might be a bad idea. (Also, PLEASE don't make Ant-Man required viewing for Avengers 2.)
And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

That lady's fake glasses were really irritating me. That was a whole lotta not-news, aside from the titles and the ant-man announcement. Not really worth a video, hey?
I'd really like to see them take a serious swing at not screwing up the X-Men. The first two films handled the characters pretty well, but the continuity was very clumsy and that 3rd one was a catastrophe.

I muttered 'light as a board, stiff as a feather' for 2 days straight and now I've ascended, ;aughing at olympus and zeus is crying

^ I enjoyed them myself. 3 was just one of those movies that had really great moments, but really terrible moments as well. Also with phoenix it was kindof a huge missed opportunity. But altogether, I liked it. Wolverine was enjoyable, and First Class was epic IMO.
@Boo: Punisher Warzone wasn't that terrible to me. I just kinda wish they had taken it more seriously than they did in some parts and more seriously in others. Maybe it's just a "so bad it's good" movie for me. *shrugs*
They're also planning a sequel to that with the same actor I think.
Other random news, rumors of Vin Diesel possibly playing The Vision are around since some months ago he posted a picture of the Vision and added the caption "True Vision" on his Facebook page (Which he does use to keep his fans in the know).

Ray Stevenson is an awesome actor, and easily better as Punisher than Thomas Jane or Dolph Lundgren. Still thought the movie was a boring, incoherent mess. I hear the script was rewritten and revised several times by several different people, which probably accounts for the lack of a cohesive plot. Probably also what caused the weird-ass shifts in tone---parts of the film had the grim, bleak tone and pitch-black humour of the source material, where others (three words: Looney Bin Jim) (three more: midair parkour explosion) were just straight-up goofball 'Batman and Robin' sh*t. As you say, the film needed to take itself consistently seriously.
Next Punisher flick (assuming they even make one---I honestly wouldn't mind them just giving up at this point) should be a hard R---there's clearly a market for it (e.g. 'Sin City', 'Watchmen'), and the material is good enough. Something straight out of 'Punisher MAX'---dark grown-up storytelling set in the real world, with a degree of realism and elements of noir.
