Krow
Country: Zukrit
Age: 19
Sex: Male
Race: Human
Weapon Type: Bow
Level: 1/00
Organization: Silent Arrows
Weapon: Shortbow (+10 Dex)
Items: Bargain Thieves' Tools (lockpicks, wires, probes, wrench, ratchet, corkscrew, hammer and chisel, file, wirecutter), Rusty Dagger, Shining Axe, Small Potion
Accessory:
Gold: 10
HP: 45/45
SP: 25/25
Bio: Krow was a cast away as a child, misunderstood and discriminated against because of his gray-toned skin and dark eyes. Because of this, he grew up alone, toughening himself up as his skills improved. After growing in both age and experience, he was hired on as an assassin by a rich nobleman, and after several excellent jobs the Silent Arrows quickly took notice of his superior abilities with a bow. Since that day he has found comfort in the guild house of The Silent Arrows, taking jobs that no other thieves would dare attempt as a sort of gratitude to the guild leader for taking him in.
Personality: Krow sticks to the shadows, and refrains from confrontation/conversation whenever possible. He holds a deep grudge to all of the more egotistical of the races, mainly humans and elves, for casting an eye of prejudice over him during his childhoof merely because he looked quite different.
Strength: 15
Constitution: 15
Intelligence: 10
Wisdom: 15
Dexterity: 35
Charisma: 10
Stealth Skills:
Sneak A: Move stealthily; required for Sneak B. 1 SP per minute, 40 gold to buy.
Steal Gold: Steals some gold; amount is based on Dexterity. 5 SP.

Choose one of the following:

a) Story Mode (...)
b) Shop (...)
c) Master Thief (learn moves for a cost)
d) Fighting Pit (practice fighting)
e) Tournament (enter a practice tournament)
f) Casino (gamble)
g) Ruins Exploration (look around in ruined cities for treasure; however, monsters, enemies, and rivals are everywhere)
h) Freelance Work (do whatever you want; infiltrate enemy bases, steal from mansions, go to other countries and steal from people, or whatever you can think of)

Hmm, I'll purchase:

-Sneak A
-Steal Gold (if possible, no gp cost was given)

Afterwards I'll head into the ruins, and by the way, do I need to purchase quivers of arrows?
Yeah.

Still don\'t care.

General cost for skills is 5 gold per TP, so Steal Gold costs 25 gold, which you can afford.

There are a few sites to go to within a fair distance of the Silent Arrows base. Choose one.

a) Byrn: An ancient city. The loot doesn't tend to be that extraordinary, but there is a lot of it. There are also a lot of low-level thieves running around, but very few monsters.
b) Craix: Similar to Byrn, but with less and better loot, and a little more dangerous.
c) Halastor: An old dungeon. A lot of traps and locks, and many monsters, but the treasure within is pretty good.
d) Fleotessirey: An abandoned wizard's keep. A reclusive Quiensoli elf used to make his residence there; now it's filled with magic items, gold, and dangerous adventurers. Beware of traps and undead servants.
e) Kaz'korain: An abandoned gold mine. Not much here besides gold, but there's a lot of it. Many thieves come here, but there are also a few dangerous residents that don't appreciate visitors.
f) Yaskan: Thought to have been an ancient capital, it contains a large palace with many hidden passages and levels; monsters and traps guard the valuable treasures within. Not recommended for low-level adventurers, although the city outside of the palace is less dangerous.

Blah, sorry-- you can go there after this-- but do you want to try and find someone to go with you? They'll want a share of the treasure, and I'll have to make their stats ( but I'll deal with that) but it's less dangerous. Generally people only go with one other person, as more tend to get in the way and make off with too much treasure, but if you want a bigger party specify. So, want to go with anyone? (If not I'll just send you on your way.)

Uh, sure I'll take a cohort, but if it saves time you could just make them a clone of Krow

Yeah, that would save time... >.>

I'll just say it's some guy called... dunno... Tao. And he uses a bow and has the stuff you have. He wants to split the gold 50/50, but items, weapons, and whatnot are whoever finds it, keeps it. I'll assume you've agreed, but if you want other terms tell me.

The two left the Dark Arrows base for Byrn. The trip there was uneventful, and after a day of travel they entered the city.

The old ruins were dark and desolate, as most of Zukrit was. Shadowy forms could be witnessed darting around, into, and out of former buildings and streets. They appeared to be in the former merchants' quarter, where tradesmen and merchants lived and worked. The marketplace was visible; other parts of town were accessible, but could not be seen from their current whereabouts.

What do you want to do?

a) Stay and look around on the streets
b) Enter a building
c) Go to another sector
d) Hunt down someone to steal from
e) Leave

I'll enter the building, and ask my companion to cover me. I'll also use Sneak A to silently slide in in case anybody lurks within.
Yeah.

Krow snuck silently into the nearest building. Tao stood without, bow at the ready and an arrow in hand. The place appeared to have been a carpenter's home and workshop, with just two rooms-- the front room and the back room, which from the doorway appeared to be a kitchen. The front room probably served as a workshop and possibly dining room, with quarters for sleeping upstairs and extra storage below. The stairs to the second floor appeared rickety and unstable; the cellar door was dark and uninviting. No treasure exactly leapt out at the dark archer, but anything was possible.

a) Search here
b) Search in the kitchen
c) Go upstairs
d) Go to the cellar
e) Leave

Krow managed to find twenty gold pieces stashed inside an old chest, as well as a dagger that, while rusted with age, looked like it had once been wicked.

Take the dagger? (You can probably sell it, if you want, since you can't use it.)

Alright.

The kitchen looked about how one would expect an old, abandoned kitchen to look. Rusted tools hung from the ceiling or lay about, pots and pans and cutlery. A few windows let in the sparse sunlight-- it was usually cloudy and dark in Zukrit, even at high noon, an unfortunate side effect of its location as a sort of retreat/testing ground for ancient wizards and their ilk. There were a few cabinets, some of which had broken glass panes, but appeared to be mostly empty.

a) Search the room
b) Leave
c) Something else

It's locked. What are you gonna do?

(BTW, we can handle lockpicking and trap disarming in two ways. I can try to describe the lock/trap and have you do it sort of by hand, if I can pull that off, or I can just take an Intelligence check to see if you get it. Tell me which way you wanna do it.)
