You're not sure, but one of your wyverns determines that there is a large cavalry force coming from the south. He had to dodge a couple arrows, but they all fell short due to your order.
Pre-Combat Orders
The enemy is taking a straight Line Formation. They appear to consist of nothing but cavalry, probably mixed melee and long range. You may choose to deploy your spy if you wish to get a more accurate enemy troop estimate, and maybe some enemy commander info.
Choose whether to deploy your spy, and orders for your troops.

You move your wyverns back in the air and arrange your troops, and send out your spy. The battle is initiated.
Enemy Troop Estimate
You estimate the enemy at two hundred strong, and guess that half is archers and half is horsemen or knights. Your spy thinks it's a little over two hundred, of which less than one hundred are archers. The rest is horsemen and knights, with roughly twice the number of horsemen.
Enemy Commander Info
The enemy commander, whose name could not be discerned, is thought to specialize in horse archers.
The enemy advances. Their horse archers fire at your front line, killing eight pikemen and thirty-two mercenaries and wounding fifteen pikemen.
Your orders?

Your wyverns charge their horse archers, speeding in straight over the melee units and impaling one horse archers per rider.
Their mounted units charge at yours. Your own are slowed down by the fact that they're behind your mercenaries and pikemen, but are afforded greater protection. Their horse crashes into your front line, taking out all but three mercenaries (each of who killed their assailant), but only seven pikemen, three of which were already wounded by arrows. The rest of your pikemen manage to impale a knight or horseman. The rest of their cavalry go around or through gaps and charge your second line, who charges right back. Your specialized knights take out eleven knights and nineteen horseemen, and take only six casualties. Your light horse fare worse, taking twenty casualties in return for eight horsemen and one knight.
Your third line attacks. The soldiers strike back at the slowed cavalry, taking out about thirty horsemen and knocking down four knights, though their armor protects them from death. The soldiers take eighteen casualties, including two from an unhorsed knight that was not unconscious (but was quickly knocked out.)
You still have about eighty soldiers, fifteen knights, a dozen light horse, two dozen unwounded pikes (four wounded), and all your wyvern riders, but only three mercenaries. The enemy has about two dozen each horsemen and knights, and three score or so horse archers, which are out of reach of your infantry but are being savaged by your wyverns; however, they have reloaded and may take your wyverns out.

You can flee from battle in two ways. You can order a retreat, which you've been trained in, or you can ask for surrender. Myself, I don't think you're in that bad a position, but... if you want to escape, go ahead. Don't want you getting all pissy because I said you could win and you lost
Well, whatever you want.

Your wyverns wheel about and perform some evasive maneuvers; however, all but two are taken out in the flurry of arrows that comes from half of the enemy horse archers. The other horse archers aim at the main fray, but it is too confused, so they don't risk hitting their own men and hold their fire.
Your melee units are engaged in one huge, fierce brawl with the enemy. By the time the Lianshath units are cleared out, your casualties for the round total all but one of your horsemen, three more knights, eleven soldiers, and a pikeman. The four wounded enemy knights are killed in the confusion, as well as one of your wounded pikemen.
Your remaining units charge at the enemy horse archers. Seeing that it is fairly hopeless, the enemy commander asks for quarter. Accept?
a) Yes (they surrender and you win)
b) No (you fight on)
