School network is so bad. So slow because of all the stupid firewalls they put up and it's getting way worse with only 2 weeks left. :'(

I'm pretty sure episode 5 was the creators' way of saying "ok this is our resolution of all the fandom ship wars so can we go back to plot now kthx"
Although I didn't mind it. Considering the confused awkward hormonal teenage protagonists, I didn't think anything that happened was particularly unbelievable, and the way that they all actually talked about it rather than beating around the bush, and mutually agreed to just ALL be friends for fear of losing their awesome friendships was a smart way to end it.

Sure, the relationship were weird and not good for anyone involved, but the way they resolved it made sense and was sweet and mature given the circumstances.

also, slightly unrelated, I love Bolin. What a flawless human.
^ I cannot disagree as of yet, but I still love Naga. Naga is adorable. Naga is also a total bro, as exemplified in pretty much every episode but specifically episode 5.

I enjoyed the stoic aspect of appa. then near the end of ATLA the helucination episode was one of my favorites. I hope Naga and Pabu arent just copy and pastes of Appa and Momo, but obvious already you can see they will be filling that niche.

I have to disagree. I saw Appa as reeeeaaaaalllyyyyyy kiiinndd oooff ouuutt offff iiiitttt aaalllmmoosstgtt liiikkeee aaa sstteeerrreeeoooottyyyppiiicccaaalllll stttoooonnnnerrrrr [strike]or Tiffany from Daria[/strike] who would get his bum in gear when necessary but was a lazy son of a gun when he could get away with it.

Naga seems to have a lot more fiery temper, which matches Korra's pretty well. She's got a lot more sass imo.

although Roku's dragon takes the ****ing cake when it comes to awesome Avatar pets so w/e

[Pabu however I would have to agree is pretty much filling the exact same niche as Momo. But he's cute so I forgive him.]

I dont like the character of Korra, like u said before, its just a male version of sokka. An aggressive airhead is not attractive at all, especially when its a girl. Maybe its a contrast to ang, but at least it leaves room for alot of improvement

Hi, welcome to VGF. I'm assuming you're new because based on your post count this is your first post, correct? Anyway, hope you stick around.

Now, to address your post, I inherently disagree with pretty much all of it. Korra's personality may be a lot like a female Sokka, but she's still her own individual. I was actually worried at first that she would be a two-dimensional, unlikeable tough perfect chick who is there as an obvious feminist plug. But she HAS flaws, and works to overcome them, and a lot of believable character depth and I really like her. I don't really think she's an airhead at all; if anything, episode 4 proved that her lack of judgement is spurred by
fear
, which is a very believable and powerful motivator.

I'm kind of quick to jump to her defense just because I really like her and I love how tLoK is managing to be a sequel that has the heart of its predecessor but its own originality, and equal quality. I'm a sucker for original sequels <3

Korra being aggressive, on the other hand. That won't be argued with. x{D

^
^I would have to disagree that Korra is not attractive at all. My opinion, but I really like that she is similar to Sokka, especially because he is not in the series anymore. The aggressiveness of her is something that Aang really never showed, and the contrast is great. I'm excited to see what happens in the coming episodes. Welcome to VGF! I'm a noob here too, but everyone is pretty nice so I hope to see more posts soon!

^ You haven't found anywhere to stream it? :{CC

ok, well, in that case. Imagine Avatar:TLA. Except, like, in the future.

Now pretend that all of your favorite characters are dead because it's so much later, but the new cast is great so you're kind of willing to forgive the aforementioned characters for being dead.

Now pretend that it's awesome.

tHERE YOU HAVE IT.
