hey so random but

I've been watching Daria with my roomies

AND WE REALLY LIKE IT OMG. The humor is just perfect and amazing and Daria is that perfect mix of snarky, hilarious, and adorable.

Also, fun fact, my Celtic Lit teacher [named Dara] is lifelong friends with the creators of Daria and the title character is based off of her. Which I think is pretty hilarious. Also the hair is perfect.

I dunno, I know it's an old cancelled show and there are a ton of others but I DON'T THINK THIS ONE GETS ENOUGH LOVE SO LET'S GIVE IT SOME

LA LA LA LA LAAAAA....

This is one of my all time favorite shows. (I wouldn't be surprised if I posted a thread about it several years and/or pages ago.) I used to watch it with my sister back in middle school when it was still a current show, and I rediscovered it on YouTube back in my freshman year of college. I probably have a decent number of episodes almost memorized.

I actually wrote a blog entry on my 20 favorite and five least favorite episodes of Daria a couple months back, FYI.

And remember, "When dead clowns can't clown, we'll still be freakin' friends."

i love daria, watched every episode and the movies with my family using netflix a while back. good stuff, and quotable too. "Mo-om!" "GAH GAH DAMNIT" "Gee, ____, who made you president of the ____ club?" and talking really slow like tiffany. such a good show

It's pretty unanimously decided upon between myself and my roommates that Daria and Trent episodes are the cutest things ever, and that everyone should beware of the cuteness that is guaranteed to ensue.

I used to watch that when I was still a kid (well, in highschool, etc). Yes, I know, "oh my god AI was young ever" go on and think it I agree with you. NEXT TIME, ON SICK SAD WORLD, TALES OF HOW THERE USED TO ONLY BE ONE MTV AND THEY ACTUALLY PLAYED ROCK MUSIC VIDEOS ON IT.

OMFMG YOU GUYS AI HAD A CHILDHOOD AHHHH WHAT AN IMPOSSIBLY SHOCKING DISCOVERY

It's rare for me to find a show that actually makes me laugh so much that I have to rewind and see what dialogue I missed. Daria has succeeded in this endeavor.

everyone is just so great omg x{D

Daria is awesome. I never understood it why my older siblings loved it so much when I was little. Then I re-watched some in High School and it was perfect.

^exactly. I hated it when I was little because I thought it was lame and boring. Only just now am I watching it at an age where I can appreciate it and it is beautiful.

I haven't seen it yet. Which is good, because now I can enjoy watching it for the first time, which is something you'll never relive.

Saw it a few times back in high school. I guess it was alright. Never really grabbed me, though.

The episode "Daria!" is one of the greatest things I have ever.

It's like watching a terrible public school musical production. In the most hilarious way.

^it's ok Boo, you can just not like good things. We aren't judging you or anything.

I'm with Old Man Boo. I just don't get the appeal of this show.

^^I do like good things, you strange woman. It's just that most of you moon-calves define 'good' incorrectly.

^ I'll just read your posts in the voice of Daria from now on, because that makes them way funnier.

yeah ok so our dorm room was kind of overflowing with estrogen

My roommates and I just finished the whole show [save the last movie].

The last episode turned into a sobfest. Too many feelings QAQ

[the note from Quinn... I just can't]

Boxing Daria is super, super emotional, yo. I love how it calls back to the first episode with the Rorschach test. Does that count as a spoiler? Nah...

^ First off, the fact that there is a scene with an inkblot test is really not a spoiler considering the lack of context, and secondly, considering how old this show is I really don't think anyone's gonna get up in your bidness about any spoilers x{D

Agreed, though. It was kind of ridiculous, the magnitude of squealing that was coming from my dorm room. Three fangirls living in one shared space is a frightening thing to behold.

I watched it as a kid for Beavis & Butthead cameos, but I think the best they ever did was vaguely reference them once.
