Dammit, I missed it. I don't stay up to watch Adult Swim.

I'm pretty sure this was just a one-time thing, though.

Did they definitively state that it was just a joke, and that they wouldn't be airing Toonami again?

If so, that's a pretty ****ing cruel joke.

Steve Blum is saying for fans to contact the network.

Also TIL Steve Blum is in another thing
Why is it drug addicts and computer afficionados are both called users?

Saw the only DBZ episode in the Cell Saga I missed.

They may bring it back if the Teen Titans shorts are popular enough.(BTW, they're hilarious)
What's the matter, scared?

Your showing that anime again as a joke just proved that there's no good reason not to bring it back and show kids of today some old anime.

Why not? It'd get more views that stuff like 'Level Up,' I don't know anyone that likes that show. Please try and remember what people actually want to see.
How was mine?

Steve Blum, I could listen to your voice forever.

And this joke was both cruel and hilarious.

^^ Seems a little abrasive. The folks at Cartoon Network are going to be more eager to comply with a request that says "I absolutely loved the Toonami April Fools Joke this year. It reminded me of just how great the Toonami block was when I was growing up. It would be great to see that block make a resurgence on the modern Cartoon Network, giving a new generation a chance to see some absolutely fantastic anime that my generation loved so much" instead of something like "You're sick bastards for that cruel April Fools joke. You guys have no idea what people want to watch. What you have on now is crap."
and that's the waaaaaaaaaay the news goes
