I regret to say that I have never read the series, despite my roomies constantly fangirling over it. I should do that eventually.

I saw the movie yesterday though and I thought it was fantastic. I am easily swayed into liking things and getting excited, etc etc etc, but it takes a lot for me to actually cry at anything.

I was kind of sobbing during that one really sad part that ANYONE WITH A HEART WOULD SOB AT.

Needless to say, I found it really good. I absolutely loved the casting, especially the main character whose name escapes me but I think it started with a K.

Just saw it tonight. I didn't read the books, but I thought it moved really fast, at some points even rushed, just to get a certain scene done and over with.
