What would you choose? Would you go for a particular style? What would be changed?

[or alternatively would you just have your life be adapted into an anime with you as a bushy-haired big-sworded magician ninja protagonist who is surrounded by a harem of hot, scantily-clad, well-endowed ninja ladies?]

--

I am definitely not asking this because of the HTTYD cartoon series that is set to come out next year. Why would you even imply that. That's stupid. You're stupid.

--

I honestly think that Zelda could be made into an awesome series. If you just take the old cartoon and make a Zelda cartoon that is exactly NOT that, you could have something good. That would be swell. The awesome amazingtastic Layton movie PROVED that you can take a video game and make an animated feature [series or just movie] out of it that is TOTALLY AWESOME. It just has to be done with the heart of the games in mind.

otherwise id pick httyd but thats actually happening lawl now all i have to do is hope it doesnt suck :{C

I've always thought Star Fox would be interesting. If F-Zero can be a cartoon, why not this?

Also, Power Rangers.

I dunno. An Animatrix/Gotham Knight-style take on Metroid could be pretty tight.

My own books. That's one of those distant hopeful ideas. Done like Mushi Shi (because their backgrounds were awesome).

^ Pretty sure the world would die of awesome if that were to happen. Assuming your books are not lame, which I think is a safe assumption. :{D

[I was unfamiliar with Mushi-shi, but a quick google images search reassured me that gorgeous and epic backgrounds are gorgeous and epic]

I'd love a 26 episode series taking place within the world of Sion Sono's films Suicide Circle and Noriko's Dinner Table.

There are few things which could possibly be MORE incredible than something like that happening.

You HAVE to watch Mushi Shi. It's one of the best anime ever. Ever. For realsies.

OK I'LL WATCH IT AND THEN IF I DON'T LIKE IT YOUR OPINION WILL FOREVER BE DUMB.

Maybe this week is not so good since I have three midterms, which means I will probably end up watching it this week. >______>

Going back to the possibility of a Zelda series that doesn't suck, I think it would be better as a shorter, tied-up story [either following exactly one game or doing its own Zelda-inspired story arc], rather than trying to just go on episode-by-episode ZELDA SHENANIGANS OF THE WEEK. That may go without saying but I felt like clarifying that the latter would... probably not be good.

I'd be down for a Majora's Mask, Skyward Sword, or Twilight Princess adaptation personally. That or an original one, if it could be pulled off with the Zelda feel, and still be original and not suck. Ooh.

Skyloft would make a good setting for anime, sure, although I think a story that elaborates on Zelda II would be the best.

Metroid could work very well as an action show, on that note, but so few creators with the power to do that realize you don't even need to have much dialogue in a visual medium.

I have a series concept that would be great for anime adaptation. I already have the main theme chosen for it, although I could never afford to use it, short of chatting with the band:

If I ever happen to have a couple excess millions, maybe I'll make that show.

I'd watch an animated series version of 'Usagi Yojimbo'. Like, if they made it with high production values, in keeping with the comic's spirit (and with Stan Sakai's blessing, of course). I'd watch the heck out of that, my son, don't you ever doubt it.

I'd love to see River City Ransom (And by extension, the Kunio-Kun series it was derived from) as one.

Oh, and Mother/Earthbound.

As much as I think Val could probably create a killer show, I think you're confused a bit, lady.
