At first, I was all,
Hey, it's a Rarity-only episode,
But then, I was all,
Hey, no it's not.
EDIT:
Twilight Sparkle is now Elaine Benes. You cannot refute this.
IMO, the first legitimately great episode since Luna Eclipsed.
I like the pediatrician and the vet. I'd like to see more of them sometime down the road.

The Wonderbolts apparently double as superheroes. Whooda thunk?

That whole 'we're falling to our imminent deaths' scene was probably the closest thing to a tear-jerker this show's had.

LEAF STACHE.
So anyways, I decide to get my sister something Pony-related as a prank present. Yet no place in town seemed to have any MLP things. o-O;

You know I wasn't even gonna try Wal-Mart so no point there. :P

No MLP Calendars. Okay, scratch that.

The people at Target apparently didn't even know of My Little Pony so apparently Target wasn't buying any MLP merchandise from Hasbro. (or Hasbro wasn't selling anything)

At Toys R Us, the My Little Pony section was just a small piece of a shelf buried in the middle of the girl's section. o-O and they didn't have that much. I just settled on giving her a Pinkie Pie keychain.

Marketing fail for sure. >.>; you'd think that since this is a college town, places would buy Hasbro stuff.

Everyone knows Hasbro can't market ****. You should've got her a Pinklestia.

EDIT: Oh, yeah, the episode was great. I'd still like to know when Discord showed up, though.

...I feel like I have to introduce myself or something, like HAI GAIZ I WATCH THE SHOW TOO. But anyways...

Most of the toys remind me of bad sprites, most of them are recolors, and the ones that are the right color look nothing like they're supposed to, or have the smallest flaw that ruin them. I actually have an Applejack toy on my desk, but she doesn't have a hat. I mean... it's okay, but it's like... Mario without his hat, it just looks weird. I don't even bother with the merchandise really (I stole this Applejack from my sister >_>), I just stick to watching the show.

I have yet to watch the new episode, should get around to it tonight.

Yeah, the toys are pretty bad relative to the show. But you have to admire the absurd notion of Applejack driving a pick-up truck with a cardboard cut-out of Twilight Sparkle in the back.

I have a couple toys, but Fluttershy is the only one that looks correct. I think Pinkie Pie's cutie mark was messed up on her toy, but I can't quite remember.

So, obviously, there won't be any new episodes until January.

I hear Hasbro is hiring some kind of marketing director. Probably because the people who make the toys (and market them) haven't actually seen the show. :P

Sides just make rainbow dash or Luna toys - poof. Instant sales from all the bronies.

As long as they don't market toys directly TO the bronies. Transformers tried to do that, which lead to the coining of the term, "ruined forever".

Well, I'll settle for a white Celestia. Not that the toys will ever leave their packaging, because I'm just that kind of fan.

Actually, there are some miniature ponies that you can get, and all of them are accurate other than Applejack's missing hat.

This is why everyone needs 3D printers.

New episode soon, fellows.
You can swing a GCN by the handle and whack an XBox fanboy on the head.

It's another Apple Bloom episode, but Granny Smith will be playing a large role, so it'll at least be interesting.
Scootaloo has dictionary vision.

Granny Smith is a zombie. For one, she caused the founding of Ponyville, when in Winter Wrap-Up, Twilight said Ponyville's been around for hundreds of years. Secondly, she NEVER wakes up from her nap.

Applejack is the only member from the mane cast to appear in this, yet it still managed to be a great episode. Clearly, Look Before You Sleep was just lackluster for another reason.
I'm glad S2 is getting out of it's funk and back into the quality of episodes from earlier in the season.
