Once the ponies were restored to their original selves, the final confrontation between them and Discord was rather quick in my opinion, especially considering how smug Discord was. It kinda killed my respect for his as a bringer of chaos.

Just watched 'Mysterious Mare-Do-Well'. It was all right.
Just glad this week's episode appears to be less RD-centric. Don't mistake me, RD's great, but hey---spread it around a little, eh?

Yeah, but it's another Rarity episode, so...
We have yet to get any episodes this season centering around Pinkie Pie, Applejack, or Fluttershy. Hopefully this will be resolved, since this season started out so great and I'd love to see it continue to be excellent.
