I just noticed that! I just hope that the one in the second one isn't revealed until much later and everybody wonders and squabbles over who he or she is.Rainbow Dash wrote:two dash episodes in a row is pretty rad.
...and it turns out to be the greatest and most powerful unicorn in all of Equestria.
srslyRainbow Dash wrote:
Also that twist was literally the best thing. Didn't even see it coming.

On that note, Rarity's pretty sporty for being so not-sporty. Was also surprised that [STRIKE]Berry Punch[/STRIKE] Berry Shine and...whoever that youngster was...won.
Really liked today's episode---probably my favourite of the season so far. It was cool to see them exploring the relationship between Rarity and Sweetie Belle. They didn't do a whole lot with that in S1.
The twist was fantastic.

Twilight didn't show up at all, did she? Huh. That's a first.
I like that the writers on MLPFiM aren't afraid to ditch most of the cast for episodes like this---I have to think it's hard selling Hasbro on that concept. "What, you don't have but two of the six main ponies in this episode? Veto---strong characterisation and clever storytelling don't move toys, dammit." I don't know.

So, that episode wasn't too bad, I guess.
Twist, Diamond Tiara, and Silver Spoon show up. With speaking roles, as well.

That thing with Twilight's hair was cool. It's a shame I hang out with so many shippers.

...Did the CMC just... learn a lesson? What a breach of tradition.
