While I respect your opinion, I believe that Rose (or Roseluck, or Desert Rose, or that overreactive pony with the cream colored coat and red mane) is the best pony.

Everypony is a valid candidate for best pony. Even/especially if they don't really do anything in-show.

The only character I actually dislike is Gilda, but as a Flutterfan, you can't blame me.

for a new watcher, the best episodes are, I'd say, Party of One, Ticket Master, Sonic Rainboom (though I dislike this one), Suited for Success, and Bridle Gossip, roughly in that order.

My non-brony friend liked Party of One and Over a Barrel the most. I don't get why so many people hate the latter episode so fervently; it's one of my favorites.

I think 'Over a Barrel' is really funny. I guess the plot resolution is a little half-assed, but the writing and visual gags are fun, and Braeburn is an amusing mental-case.

I'd heard she was going to return this season. I was that surprised she didn't put in an appearance in the premiere, to be honest. [spoiler]You'd think the only other character who had a hand in Discord's original imprisonment would at least be consulted after his escape.[/spoiler]

Still, I like the idea of Luna appearing in a regular episode. Sort of wondered what she was up to during the events of S1, and what her current role is.

[spoiler]Well, a lot of episodes take place during the day, when she's most likely sleeping. Plus, since Celestia is usually not seen much (if at all) during normal episodes, it makes sense that Luna would be seen even less. But yeah, it'll be nice, I'm kind of curious what she's been up to since not being evil anymore.[/spoiler]

Still really curious what Derpy/Ditzy's going to do, though. But I guess that's for a later date.
