Maybe the writers are trying to experiment with the formula a little so it doesn't become as formulaic as say, Code Lyoko.

Then again though; if you do make it so "okay season 1 is the sitcom one, season 2 is the magical girl one with several story arcs, season 3 is the one with the big story arc..." then it's probably not much better. :V

I would just like to go on record as saying that I strongly oppose this show (especially after today) and I find you so-called fans unusual and puzzling.

How does one 'oppose' a show, exactly?

I mean, maybe it's just a matter of my being a terrible old man, but, like, there's a place in my worldview for just about every form of entertainment. I may not personally enjoy MMA or dubstep, reality TV or Godard films, but I allow that fellow-humans will enjoy harmless things that mystify me. Shakespeare's old 'I don't see them, but I see a cherub that does' thing.

It's only when you get into ritualised murder and cannibalism, burning hobos alive for a laugh, nailing cats to old boards and running them over with steamrollers, that you start hitting things I could actually be said to 'oppose'.

Maybe I'm just too open-minded.

My plan is, we get a big pallet of everclear, 151-proof rum, old moonshine, ancient bottles of schnapps from great-aunt Flossie's root-cellar, and what-have-you. Volatile hooch, is the main point---anything semi-drinkable that'll go up like billy-be-damned if you get it around an open flame. Sock it all away in a back-alley, leak out its location via word-of-mouth, and wait until there's a good-sized mob of feral street-dwellers hanging around the place. Then we drop the frag bombs. Whatever isn't killed by shrapnel outright is purged by holy cleansing fire. It's perfect.

A little birdie told me that
Luna will show up on the 22nd in a Halloween special. She is trying to improve her scary public image.
I would like to see this be true!

The way I usually do is to give it the "Fight Club" Treatment.

1) You do not talk about that show.
2) You do not freaking talk about that show.

The reason being that the more you talk about that show you hate the more you might introduce someone to it, and people have different opinions about stuff and you probably earned it a new customer.

No such thing as bad publicity - It worked so much for Twilight, Control-Alt-Delete, almost everything made by Rockstar, anything listed as a "Video Nasty" in the UK...

Because I'm talking about MLP You can tell I don't think the show is bad enough to oppose - something like American Idol or Jersey Shore?

I got half way through the first episode before I had to stop it for my sanity. Is there something wrong with me?
