I like the artwork of the cartoons posted, I just don't like the use of the speech enhancers or rough language used by the characters. They may add realism, but some folks don't want to be reminded of those parts of the real world while viewing a work of fiction. Speech enhancers are more distracting than entertaining.

Because the rest of the strip isn't already out-of-this-world insane.

Yeah, this comic is fine until bad language pops up. It is then my mind is shot back into the twisted reality of the society we live in, where corruption, bigotry, violence and sexual deviation are considered ordinary. Then, the harshest truth hits me: I will never have a Shy Guy teacher beat me up while calling me a piece of ****.

Sometimes the swear is part of the joke.

^^^ That is a good point, but it's already kind of too late to stop now and have characters uncharacteristically swear off swearing. If it makes you feel any better, I have a lot of characters who choose not to swear at all.

One of them's in this old comic.

I tend to agree. Swearing doesn't really add anything and it can actually take away from a joke. Exception: above comic.

Also, your list of the qualities of a twisted society almost feels like this to me, since sexual deviation isn't really caused by ignorance or general asshattery. But I get what you mean.

Now now, just because YOU guys are afraid to read this comic around your mothers doesn't mean the swearing detracts.

I, for one, enjoy the clash of realistic dialogue and situations combined with strange features of Mario elements and a Celebi coach.

I like the swearing. It reminds me of normal conversations with my friends. I just skip over the swear words because it's typical. I say, keep it up.

Could you tell from the pixels?

The people have spoken, I guess.

Sorry, Mario500. It started profane, so I gotta keep the tradition going. It keeps the comic SO EDGY AND HARDCORE. Because y'know, swearing always does that.

Although, there's none in this comic I drew two days ago.

Unless I missed the joke, it's not funnay.

Also, is there something wrong with Yamagura's left eye?

At least her speed increased.
Dux is not you wrote:Also, is there something wrong with Yamagura's left eye?
No. There's something wrong with both her eyes.

By the way, it's not necessary to let me know when the comic isn't funny. I am already aware it generally isn't.

Actually, it generally is. That's why I believe it necessary to point out when it's not.
