Captain America: The First Avenger

So remember when Marvel made two awesome comic book movies this summer? Well, there's a third one out right now and it's equally awesome (if not more). Captain America really impressed me. Maybe it's all the Nazi-fighting (or really Hydra-fighting, whatever) but I got really strong Indiana Jones vibes from the entire movie. It was pretty well-cast, action-packed, funny, and combines everything that makes the Marvel movies leading up to next year's Avengers movie so awesome in to one film. I think it's my favorite so far of the pre-Avengers movies. Not sure if it's better than First Class though. That **** was spectacular.

oh, and if you don't stay for the end credits, you suck forever, because it's...

and that's the waaaaaaaaaay the news goes

I honestly think the Avengers movie will be a bigger deal than The Dark Knight.

saw it today, ****s great yo. full of great action packed scenes and its pretty funny too. chris evans is also hot as hell
favorite part was when the ending when he breaks out of the "holding cell" and runs into the middle of times square, thought that was pretty cool

also what was with the part when red skull was holding the cube and space appeared? did he get vaporized or sucked up into space to the gods? wasn't so sure
Somebody got mad at me for "spoiling the movie" (which I haven't even seen yet) by saying Cap "kills Nazis, beats Red Skull, gets frozen in ice". Bear in mind that the first two things on that list were in the trailer, & the last one was hinted at in the past Marvel movie (which the guy who got mad at me HAS seen). Also, I mentioned that I hadn't seen the movie so they might've done the ending differently. The dude was still indignant even after I pointed out that I hadn't revealed any information that wasn't DECADES old.
Him: But I haven't read the comic books at all!
Me: Neither have I. At all. I also knew that Harvey Dent would become Two-Face, Jean Grey would become the Phoenix, & Tony Stark would become an alcoholic. You & I share many friends, people who I've heard--& I'm sure you've also heard--talk about these stories long before any of them were filmed.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

I watched this movie last night.

I was kind of expecting a much more high budget movie (kind of like Iron Man) but the movie seems good enough without it. I personally enjoyed the movie, though I haven't seen any of the other "Avenger" Movies. I guess I could try to get on that. :p
