Darth Vader

Maybe not now, but sometime later

You're very phallic

You're big black and metallic

Only you could be so bold

Lord Vader

I bet a lot of people are interested too

Huh. Didn't expect that. I wonder how that and the rest of this plot will work out after the conclusion of the last movie.

^^We don't know that Catwoman is necessarily a villain, however. Her relationship with Batman is a bit more muddled than that...

We all know Christopher Nolan can go ask Sam Raimi how not to do 3 villains.

The Holiday Killer's one of my favorite Batman villains from one of my favorite Batman series... I'm looking forward to seeing how "The Long Halloween" translates to the screen. That's obviously what this is going to basically be, perhaps minus the actual "whodunnit" aspect from the comics. The first Nolan film was basically Year One, the second one was The Man Who Laughs (except, you know, better and more in line with what most people imagined a post-Year One Joker encounter would have looked like)... It's only logical for this to be the next step, though to be honest the first two had quite a few elements from The Long Halloween as well. I'm pretty stoked now.

Raimi's answer would be "just don't let the studio force you into it." I think you mean Nolan can go ask Joel Schumacher how not to do 3 villains.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Yeah, Nolan's probably gonna play up Catwoman's ambiguity rather than have her be a full-on villain.

I'm interested to see how Nolan makes Catwoman not totally cheesy. I've never really liked that character. Although if he is going to take a cheesy character make them fit into the Dark Knight setting, I'd rather see him pull off Robin. GREEN AND RED SUIT, BEE-ATCH.

I hope I like the villain. They already used my two absolute favorite Batman villains in the first two movies, the Scarecrow and Two-Face. I never read the comics, but I hear Bane is waaay more interesting in the comic than the TV Batmans.

I was really hoping for Vin Diesel as Mr. Freeze. But, please, God, no Penguin.

Bane was at least mildly interesting in the animated series.

Please, if he does Freeze, he'll cast somebody who'd be believable as a scientist, not pay homage to Ahnuld.

Yeah, I think Burton already pulled off the most serious possible cinematic version of the Penguin.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

That's easy. Torn metal and rubber suit for body armor/enhancements, drop the green to near-black and the red could be coppery, face mask can be a technological enhancement that locks in place via magnetic implants (that actually exists, don't argue with it). Suddenly Robin is a cocky guy who shows up whenever Batman is kicking ass, also kicks ass but makes poor judgemental decisions. Threatens to turn Batman in, comes up short when there's a fight, Batman takes him back to his place to treat because wtf else do you do with another hero, and sets down the ground rules in part as an offer to train him - Robin has up to this point been dismayed by public backlash to his black and white justice with its short-sighted responses, comes around to the idea about halfway through the film. Him and Batman use their reputation among the underground criminals as being at odds with one another to setup a ruse and flush out information, without the audience being told what the hell is going on. This sets up a transition to Nightwing well because Robin is still convinced he should be a lone gun but he doesn't want the Robin reputation holding him down.

You. Yeah, you people. Keep talking about Batman.

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to this. Should be good.

Adam West should make a guest appearance.

Why not? Leonard Nimoy was in the 2009 Star Trek.

IIRC the Animated Series had an Adam West-expy, so it has worked already.
