I know what you're thinking. That sounds really dumb.

But wait, there's good news! The movie is going to be set in New York instead of Tokyo! And Tetsuo and Kaneda are most likely going to be played by Robert Pattinson and Justin Timberlake! :X3: :X3: :X3: :X3: :X3: :X3: :X3: :X3: :X3: :X3:

I don't really foresee any possible future in which this movie is released that I don't end up becoming a murderer.

Just as fair warning.
I muttered 'light as a board, stiff as a feather' for 2 days straight and now I've ascended, ;aughing at olympus and zeus is crying

I have as much hope for this as I do the upcoming Michael Bay Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, which is to say, none at all.

Hollywood just seems hell bent on raping classic franchises.

^Did you see Turtles Forever? If Michael Bay's not careful, he might literally destroy the TMNT franchise!

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

The old Akira movie was mildly successful and definitely has a cult following. This new one might just do the same, despite how retarded it looks.

For some reason, this reminds me of that one sketch on Robot Chicken about a musical version of Akira.
