I saw /co/ raving about this show last month, so I decided to check it out.

I honestly do not see the appeal.

My Little Pony pretty much defined my childhood, so I have to say I have watched way too much of this for my own good.
I believe in second chances, and that's why I believe in you.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw this and was "whaaaaaaaaaaa?". :p

those pony avatars that keep popping up on SA are actually really cool and are tempting me to watch a kids cartoon about ponies help

(no help needed i don't actually have a tv)

Hey, it's cool. You like the pony show. I'm not gonna hate. But I reserve the right to completely miss the point of liking any My Little Pony product or show or anything otherwise associated with it. And firmly stand by statements such as "...whaaaaa?". ;)

it is less like my little pony than the other shows from what i understand. it's basically cartoon network material.

the first two aren't actually like the rest of the series, although the first episode is more like it than the second

yeah aside from those first two episodes, it feels like a cartoon network show. there is way to much clever writing and quirks for it to be written off as little girl show

(help im vomiting rainbows)

OUTDATED TROPE OUT OF ****ING NOWHERE

It's not often you can watch a cartoon where you can witness a cute pony character built on little-girl stereotypes get struck by an anvil.

No.

I just looked it up real quick and just saw that scene. I haven't watched enough of it to be a brony yet.

But apparently, I am internet-savvy enough to be aware of Derpy Hooves' existence.

People are so weird.
