Once Upon A Time in A Battlefield, a Korean film. It was actually pretty good.

Popeye the Sailor starring Robin Williams.

This movie came out thirty years ago and is apparently William's first starting role.

It also sucked, as the comic book and cartoon hero does not translate well into a live action adaptation. However, Paul Smith's performance as Bluto was amazing, as he had the best singing voice and most humorous role.

Overall stupid and lame, but I still found myself laughing during several scenes and rooting for the bad guy the whole time.

A lot of Korean films are, including one of the films I watched last night, April Snow. I mostly enjoyed it because Son Ye-jin is really, really beautiful. Like, seriously. Also, the movie itself was pretty good but a bit derivative of Wong Kar-Wai's masterpiece In the Mood for Love.

I also watched Superbad, which of course features Michael Sexy Cera as an awkward teenager who is trying to get some. I feel like he's played that role before.

^Yeah, but that was only the [strike]first[/strike]second time he'd played that role. (First time playing it in a movie.)

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

I watched Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva. It's nice to see a video game movie that doesn't suck for once.

Oh no, I'm actually starting to really like Michael Cera. That's why I gave him the middle name "Sexy."

Last movie I watched was a Japanese film called Noriko's Dinner Table. It was pretty good, but not as good as director Sion Sono's later film, the absolute masterpiece Love Exposure.

Ditto. Although I have one nagging question
What happened to all the people who didn't solve a puzzle correctly? Most of them fell through a trap door, and then the ship exploded... Are we to assume they're dead? Kinda dark for Professor Layton.
127 Hours

It was pretty good, though I was smiling though the parts I was supposed to be cringing through because I could see one of my friends covering her eyes.

SURPRISE SURPRISE

Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva.

Consequently, I now have the Song of the Sea stuck in my head. Permanently. Since she sings it like twenty times.
I believe in second chances, and that's why I believe in you.

Saw the Secret of Kells the other day. It was a bit darker than I was expecting.

Isabella, a Hong Kong film from director Pang Ho-Cheung. It was so above average that it was above average.
