So if anyone has seen Iron Man 2 and watched the end of the credits (which you should get in the habit of doing, because you never know what they throw in there), there was a little scene where they found Thor's hammer in New Mexico.

So ML and I saw the movie tonight and I was impressed. I think it's worth seeing for the visual effects alone. The entire movie looks gorgeous, especially in the scenes that take place in Asgard. I also think that the movie might not have been as good as it was without Branagh as the director. It's not as good as Iron Man, but I think it's still a step above The Incredible Hulk and Iron Man 2 (not to say that those aren't both good films, they're just not anything particularly special in my opinion).

And ML made a good observation: The only black guy in Asgard WOULD be a bouncer. (I mean sure, Heimdall is more than just a really big bouncer, but still)...

Also, really looking forward to Captain America.
and that's the waaaaaaaaaay the news goes

I saw it today with my mom and we both REALLY enjoyed it. Definitely worth seeing, and as mentioned ^, freaking amazing special effects.

I'd love to see this at the theater, I think I'll try and drag SD out to it as soon as she'll cooperate since you guys liked it.

I saw Thor tonight. Its a fun movie and absolutely gorgeous looking.
Total slaughter, total slaughter. I won\'t leave a single man alive. La de da de die, genocide. La de da de dud, an ocean of blood. Let\'s begin the killing time.

I pretty much echo Panfan's sentiments, especially the sentiment that was my own.

It was a fun movie. I very much enjoyed it, and I thought the whole thing was acted very well.

My dad and I enjoyed this.

Especially the portrayal of Loki. Dad has a bit of a personal connection with Loki.
Dr. Selvig is trying to find his way around some basement of a SHIELD facility when he comes across Nick Fury, who shows him some kind of mysterious blue cube thing that no one knows what it does (including me). Then Loki appears in a reflection, telling Selvig to get further involved in this.
For the after-credits scene:
Apparently that's the (a?) Cosmic Cube. It's going to be part of Captain America.
