But Johnny Depp will only be in them if he likes the scripts.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

It's not impossible to make a good movie without Depp. They just need to get Mickey Rourke in there, pow the thing is awesome.

Also, btw, a badassed action movie with Daniel Craig could really work in a pirate setting, IMO.

Exactly, so either they keep writing Pirates scripts he likes, so we keep enjoying him in the movies, or he walks & no one goes to see the movie, so they don't make any more. Either way, we win.

Yeah, but imagine the epicness of Nick Cage as Captain Jack Sparrow? Instead of making a short gag out of "Why is the rum gone" he would've been freaking the hell out for like 5 minutes solid, screaming at Knightley that she's a bitch and he'll kill her.

They just need to replace Johnny Depp with Clint Eastwood.

^ Just saw that trailer today. Pretty interested. I hope giving Depp more screentime ends in an improved Pirates, because Bloom and Swan were getting obnoxious.

^Warning: don't bump a topic just for the sake of bumping it. It's obnoxious. If you are going to post, post substance.

^ Don't really think that's spoiler-worthy. Plus Pirates 5 was already confirmed, I believe.
