Really? Because I found The Incredible Hulk to be an enjoyable movie. Sure, it wasn't on par with the other comic book adaptations that year, but when you're going against Iron Man and The Dark Knight, then I'm cool with it.

I definitely found it to be better than quite a few Marvel releases (most notably Spider-Man 3, X-Men: The Last Stand, Daredevil, Elektra, Ghost Rider, and now more recently, X-Men Origins: Wolverine)
and that's the waaaaaaaaaay the news goes

The Incredible Hulk was okay (and definitely better than Spider-Man 3). I'm in the minority, however, in that I really enjoyed the 2003 Hulk film directed by Ang Lee.

I liked The Incredible Hulk, especially for the fact that it features some of the most poorly hidden Toronto location footage, which two of the three major action sequences being shot at the University of Toronto and Yonge Street respectively.

Oh wait, I got the movies mixed up, I only seen the older Hulk movie. Can't judge the newer one.

I think this is what the new Spider-Man movie should be like:

We still have the TV Guide hologram of the 2003 Incredible Hulk freaking out on our fridge.

It became twice as funny when they almost immediately rebooted it after that.

I agree with both. The Ang Lee Hulk was actually pretty good IMO.

The Incredible Hulk was a good hit. But rebooting Spider-Man? God, and I thought Superman was getting crooked.

Looks like we have a new Spider-Man...and it's NOT Zac Efron.

I thought that's when the world ends....

I sure hope no one said that already in this topic. That would stink. I didn't want to read all 7 pp. just for that.

I certainly do not object to the making of more Spider-Man movies or video games; their track record is pretty good so far.

Actually, with his hair back like that he looks a lot like early Parker. Looks more Parker-like than Toby Maguire.

oh no he was in Lions for Lambs, this is gonna suuuuuuuuuck.

Of course, I'll give no real reason for why his filmography and assume everyone will agree with me, but he's a new actor and everything new sucks.

Seriously though, If the director believes that he's a good choice, I have no real problem with it. We'll see.

Yeah, I'm more interested in who's directing. Anyone got a name?

Mark Webb. He's mentioned in the same article as the actor.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Buuump. Apparently, Emma Stone has been cast as Gwen Stacey. Interesting choice - I would have pegged Mary Jane, but hey, there you have it.

Yeah, you'd think "hey, Emma Stone's a redhead, of course she'll play Mary Jane", but that crazy Hollywood likes to screw with us. After all, in Spidey 3 a redhead also played Gwen while a blonde played MJ.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"
