And now, I bring you some text.
I just wanted to add something here.
I've been going through all my old drawings lately and ultimately realized (more profoundly) that I've kept at these characters for a good six years. I just happened to find that astounding as I have never had the consistent perseverance for anything else I've ever really valued. I've constantly given up many a thing in my childhood, but there was just something about the idea of fictionalizing identities that gave me the premonition that this ability to create would lead to infinite possibilities of entertainment; not just for me, but for those I present my work to.
Although I stated I developed these characters myself in the first post, I foolishly overlooked a key player in helping me bring these characters to life, and I can honestly say that without her support and encouragement, most of these characters would not even exist. Yes, that's HotD (BIG SURPRISE). She was the one with the curiosity that helped spurn me to build up these characters further, she was my only supporter in a world surrounded by a family that didn't appreciate my art, she was the one helping me generate ideas and aided in character development, and more importantly, she was the sole incentive to develop the cast further. Therefore, she deserves much credit for how my work is now. I could not imagine developing these ideas further by myself, for I would lack the motivation. I needed someone to be my audience--my sole purpose to create all this for. And I found that (or she found me?) in her. HotD, if you're reading this, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Oh, yeah...and I love you.
...Sounds like something more fitting for a final note, huh? WELL, I WANTED TO EXPRESS MYSELF. AMATEUR COMIC ARTISTS HAVE FEELINGS TOO.
tl;dr: My art would've not reached this point without HotD's help.
Anyway, back to comic-stripping.
