Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law need to stop being so ****ing epic. Because it's just unfair that two people possess so much awesomeness.
In other words, I like it.
God damn, that movie was awesome.

Ending was great, I love Robert Downey and I feel he did an excellent job. Acting was great.

OK, this movie was amazing.

I ended up seeing it twice; and guess what I noticed the second time?
You can actually HEAR a clanking noise when Blackwood gets hanged at the beginning of the movie!
Talk about awesome detail. I got the warm fuzzies when I heard that.
I believe in second chances, and that's why I believe in you.

^ Yeah, I was thinking about seeing it a second time so I can notice little things like that.

Unfortunately, I have Avatar, Princess and the Frog, Fantastic Mr. Fox, and Invictus to see in the near future...
and that's the waaaaaaaaaay the news goes

Haven't seen it. Yet. If you can say so without spoiling anything, what's your(anyone) favorite part of the movie?

6 MONTH THREAD BUMP

I watched it at night when everyone else was asleep, except for my super quite (don't talk during this movie or else) brother, and the TV was turned up pretty loudly and I still had trouble hearing/understanding what Downey was saying, what with his whispery speedy british-accent acting. However, other than that reason, this movie was pretty kick-ass. I am currently watching it for my second time, regardless of the fact that I just watched it last night.

^ It was probably just the sound mix that was the problem. Many dvds now come with surround sound that auto-compresses to stereo when there's no surround, and leaves the mix kind of flat and speech hard to follow. I hate it, especially since a skilled audio engineer can do the same with stereo that you hear with surround sound.

This movie was hands-down awwwwesome. I should probably buy it.
I muttered 'light as a board, stiff as a feather' for 2 days straight and now I've ascended, ;aughing at olympus and zeus is crying

Maybe, but I only had trouble hearing/understand Holmes. The rest of the characters I could hear/understand perfectly fine.

I was a little bit disappointed. But hopefully, the next one will be better. There will be a sequel!

Aside from the complete lack of Basil and other key ingredients, what did you find disappointing?

Just didn't think they used Sherlock Holmes to his whole potential. The guy was a genius afterall, but thats just my opinion.

^^ I agree, the character didn't seem smart enough for true Sherlock Holmes.
