Looking for a Movie to See this Halloween? Here my recommendations of films both on theatres and video.

Now in Theatres
Zombieland - Even though I really wanted to see it, I purposely skipped this film opening weekend to see it in theatres on Halloween. From what I hear, it will be worth the wait.

Paranormal Activity - You can discuss this film in the topic I just created, however I do have to say that this was one of the most terrifying films I have seen in ages (of course, that depends on what you find terrifying).

You can also see if there's a midnight screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show in your town.

Skip: Saw VI, The Vampire's Apprentice

Halloween - I mean John Carpenter's original here. This has been compulsory Halloween night viewing for me for a few years now and I can't wait to see it again.

Trick 'r Treat - This is a film that should have been released in theatres (and I was actually lucky to see a festival screening of it in August). This is a fun horror anthology filled with dark humour that is more original than most horror films released these days.

Drag Me to Hell - The closest thing Sam Raimi has gotten to making a forth Evil Dead film. I'm still deciding whether the the unrated version is better than the theatrical.

It's funny how Saw, a Horror movie series that was actually deep and had a good premise, apparantly sucks.

^ What about playing the Spider-Man 3 Game? I say the same joke can be applied.

^ It started out okay, but suffers from Horror Movie Sequel Syndrome and has become a horrible cluster**** of torture porn and convoluted plot.

But I still watch it.
