The first was pretty fun; I'm not sorry I saw it, but I'm in no rush to see it again, nor do I care about a sequel.

From what I hear, it's pretty amazing that the film got made at all, since the director apparently got blacklisted from Hollywood (as seen in the documentary Overnight).
