I'm getting kind of an 'Oddworld' vibe from this. Really looking forward to it.

I'll see it on Wednesday as my final "normal" film before the Toronto Film Festival begins.

BTW, if you want the original Oscar-nominated short:

I saw it today. It was all right. Well-polished, with a compelling aesthetic. Writing was a little lacklustre, though---flimsy characterisation in general, leading me not to care a whole lot. It was really short, too---the trailers seemed to promise an epic feel, and you just don't get that with a seventy-minute movie.

I don't think length really has much to do with epicness.
I mean look at the original short film.
It was ten minutes long and seemed majorly epic.

I saw it two days ago. It's a really neat movie, a lot like Terminator, but I loved the concept.

^They must have been editing all the horrible violence and graphic sex out of it. Sometimes that takes a while.

And they have to digitally edit out all the dogs and cats and replace them with wallabies and koala bears, so you don't get confused.

Wasn't the ending kind of just leaving you hanging?
