Zombie episode was interesting, but I found the core story to be the most fascinating. Extremely well crafted and I liked how you learned the story piece by piece. I think it concluded too quickly though, I would have liked to bask in the story's main arc a bit before it ending so abruptly. A movie is in order; I demand it to be so.

I feel like the series wrapped things up pretty nicely by itself.

I don't think it could hurt, there are many side characters that could eb expanded upon for a side story, or a prequel involving any/all characters. A sequel may be forced but there's certainly room for more story.

They finished the arc, the series is solid. I see no reason to screw it up like DBZ or something.

I could see it being done like the Cowboy Bebop movie, which took place between Episodes 22 and 23 or something like that.

I saw most of Samurai Champloo, though I skipped one third of the series for no real reason.

Still, saw the Baseball Episode. Almost died laughing.

Exactly. And prequels work very well, as we all know by now. If they could find something to work with, I'd say go for it, but sometimes series are just to tight to force anything else in. Such as Death Note, I'm sure people want a full-out sequel, but they're treading lightly because it wrapped up so damn well. But I think this series could pull it off pretty easily.
