Brad Pitt actually seems to be doing a good job so far,I'm tellin' ya the kid's goin places.

^ What the hell does that mean? The Oscars are all about rewarding people for doing good jobs.

Sean Penn, Brad Pitt, Anne Hathaway, Angelina Jolie, Meryl Streep, Kate Winslet, Robert Downey Jr., Philip Seymour Hoffman, and Heath Ledger all seem like pretty mainstream actors.

YouTube - Tarantino On There Will Be Blood

Tarantino talking about There Will Be Blood, his friendship with Paul Thomas Anderson, and how the aforementioned film made Basterds a better film.

Personally, I would argue that Anderson is quite possibly the best director of his generation, and Tarantino might have a bit of "catching up" to do, especially after Death Proof.
