With all the Final Fantays Sequel Square is doing now

Why not go back and do some to the old Classic 2D ones as well? preferably sitll atleats partly in 2D meaning probably only Nintendo would be willing to Publish them, but they'd have an Audience.

I mean if they can bring back the lame Charlie's Angels wannabes from FFX why not a Bad@$$ villain like Kefka?

Mega Man 9 did prove old school graphics are still appealing to people, so if Capcom can do it, I know Square can. I agree they should bring back some old school flare to RPGs.

^Actually, it's been made. It had different parts that come out that you need to download.

Not only that, but it's on cell phone, so we'll probably never see it.

They remade FF4 in 3-D, so that's a good start. I wish they'd do FF6. there's been a rumor of a FF6 sequel for a few years. it was supposed to star Shadow.

You just might be on to something.

They can call it Final Fantasy VII: I Know, We Made Another One.

I don't mind Final Fantasy VII that much. I'm trying to find a PS-One memory card so I can play it.

Though sequels to some of these old-school classics is a must.

Some FF games need sequels. FF8, FF9 and FF10, definitely.

Uh, except, FFX-3 needs to focus on Auron and Jecht and not be anything like FFX-2. Ah, and Dissidia needs to become a sub-franchise with regular sequels.

Be ready to be flamed, IRHP. Not by me, but by these man-eating Tidus and FFX haters.

Nah, everyone loves Auron. But I do predict it may happen anyway. Seems few love FF8 as I do.

I was also a big fan of Mystic Quest, maybe it could get a Sequel too.

I actually love FFX and Tidus really didn't bother me all that much.

Haha, at this point I could claim Vaan and Tidus were the best FF characters ever; Mystic Quest is now the focus of fan-boy rage. =P

^ I feel the same way. I didn't like Tidus all that much as a character, but I loved his story and his origin. It was unique and lived up to what a fantasy really is.

It did. It was called Secret of Mana.

Branched off into it's own Square sub-franchise.

Secret of Mana was a sequel to Final Fantasy Adventure, not Mystic Quest.

Unless you live in Europe, where Final Fantasy Adventure was in fact called Mystic Quest.

Well that's confusing. Whichever game starts with an earthquake, that one kinda sucks.
