This is Rumour Control. Here are the facts!

As much as people would like to speculate about people being signed and whatnot, the truth is, it is WAY to early to even think of a third film.

Christopher Nolan will probably direct another film (such as the Prestige after Batman Begins) before even thinking about making another Batman film.

It will be AT LEAST a year before we hear any real news on a third film.

So, if your friends tell you Johnny Depp, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, or Adam Sandler is signed to appear in the next film, just laugh in their face.

^^ I was just suggesting that Philip Seymour Hoffman would be a great villain, as he's one of my favorite actors.

Third Film Fan Art!!

David Tennant as The Riddler

Marion Cotillard as Cat Woman
Kristen Bell as Harley Quinn

Those are so good, I wish they were real (especially The Riddler)

The Riddler does look pretty good there, even if he's pretty much just dressed like Doctor Who with a hat and cane.

David Tennant would own Johnny Depp in that role. Although, honestly, Depp is a fine character actor; he might actually do a wondrous job.

Though you have agree that the hat and cane Riddler:

...is DEFINITELY a better match for the more realistic Batman series than the skintight jumpsuit Riddler (i.e. Jim Carrey in Batman Forever -- though admittedly he also had the hat and cane in some scenes):

I'm planning on seeing it this weekend. I'm so glad I know next to nothing about it.

I saw it last night. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Great acting, story -- Screw it, EVERYTHING was awesome.

I noticed I felt really epic after watching it. I mean, I couldn't just walk around, I had to stalk and slink around like a ninja. Weird.

EDIT: Does anybody know the name of the "My Insides hurt!! The Boss said he'd make the voices go away and replace them with Bright Lights! Like Christmas!!" Guy?

That....

That was perfect. I thanked that post directly after the "Why so serious?!" part, but desperately wanted to thank it twice once it was over with.

I watched it twice since I got it on DVD (Tuesday). The movie is incredible. The first scene is one of the best openings to any movie. Not to mention the last scene with Two-Face is extremely intense. Just mind blowing. I want to leave work early to watch it again - haha.
