Trippy isn't quite the word I'd use for NTHT. More a combination of depressing and rage inducing. Very powerful anime imho, and one my all time favorites.
Total slaughter, total slaughter. I won\'t leave a single man alive. La de da de die, genocide. La de da de dud, an ocean of blood. Let\'s begin the killing time.

Well I would have to say Ovan from the .Hack (Sorry for spelling) series. I mean he was a really cool character and all and in G.U. He gets cooler than tri-edge but his reasons were so odd. And the split personality thing was wierd. I remember watching my friend on the intro to one of the G.U. games and it freaked me out. And the narutard in me must say something of couse. I believe one of the characters I hated the most took place in a filler episode. Well two actually. The paint girl from the one were all her paintings become real and the lady from the Star village. The one who lives in the forest. It just made me forget watching almost all the fillers
I did watch the brothers filler, the curry of life filler, and the one where naruto tells hinata. "I need you...wait theres neji I'll just go to him" I was at my friends eating pizza and was drinking my soda and spewed soda all on his dresser. I had to help wash.

omg ninja anime.

omgomgomg.

Also, so it doesn't appear like I posted just to be an ass, I'd like to nominate Yuda of Hokuto No Ken.
Spoiler.
Basically, a man who wearing eyeliner, and fingernail polish, seems to like collecting "perfect girls", and wants to make one of the main character's miserable.
Also, WvsW is all dead

Watch episode 51, it'll make you think what Metal Man are doing to our kids. ;) ;) ;)

i was using trippy as an expression of how you have a half-hour of pure concentrated awesome and then a half-hour of horrible depression

Every victim in this show is laughing in the introduction. Some of the characters die as though it's not that big of a deal. Two were even laughing!

They all die by the kid with the golden baseball bat. Not only this, but the series ended with a sad note. Tokyo was enveloped by a huge black blob and the kid was never stopped.

The ending of each episode is even more twisted.

Yep, they are all dead.

Watch episode 5, it'll make you think what we are doing to our kids.
God damn it, use spoiler tags.

^I'm not spoiling any of the story itself. The premise is laid out before you every second of the show. Plus, why hasn't everyone else used spoiler tags?????

*shrug* I was into it by the end of the first episode. It may not be your thing. Give it a couple more episodes and if nothing changes for you, drop it if you feel like it. It's only 13 episodes though, so its not exactly a large time waster like the long running shounen anime are.

^^But...you are. You spoiled some of the last episode after the first video.

Eh.

amamiya from ef: a tale of melodies is pretty wtf-worthy. Also, rage-inducing.

Apos - Mnemosyne

Watch it and try to disagree.

Edit: Most of you can't watch it. . .

Then Suitengu Chouji from Speedgrapher.

EDIT EDIT: I don't think most of you can watch that either.
