I'm actually a big fan of the Naruto Manga more so than the Anime. My son loves the Anime simply because the manga is not in color and he likes to see the animation instead of still pictures.


DBZ was cool back in the day but it doesn't hold up when I look at old episodes.

And I find DBZ to be an overrated mediocre action series that has no decent characters, or good plot.

I wonder if Dragon Ball Z is the only reason Naruto wears orange...

Take the Z off of that and we have a winner series. As it stands, I prefer Naruto.

I watched DBZ when I was young and was addicted to it. Last year I watched Naruto and became addicted to it, due to watching shippuuden with a friend last winter.

DBZ has better action, yet Naruto has more interesting characters IMO.

DBZ's battles are redundant and Naruto's are too drawn out.

But overall, I choose Naruto. Maybe that would have changed if I watched DBZ in subtitles and Naruto simultaneously.

Naruto.More active story line and stuff like that. DBZ ,on the other hand,is a show I watched for a bit when I was younger,but I lost interest of it.

DBZ isn't nearly as boring as Naruto. That having been said, that's like asking which type of bodily waste I prefer. :/

Personally, I've never really developed a taste for either.

But if I had a choice, I'd rather watch DBZ. I just can't handle Naruto.

Naruto isn't a total failure IMO, but it doesn't click for me. I can't say I like any of the characters nor am I particularly interested in the story. The action itself is, I admit, quite good but that's not enough alone.

^ Naruto's characters should at least get a mention for Rock Lee. Unfortunately, every other character on the show has the personality of a stump.

I've never liked either. The original Dragonball was good, from what I've seen of it.
