I saw a TV commercial for Disaster Movie today....the entire ad was just shots of pop culture icons being assaulted without provocation.

No mention of any natural disasters was made.

Because when I'm trying to sell people on a film called..."Disaster Movie,"...allegedly meant to mock...disaster movies,..I see absolutely no reason to suggest that there are any sort of...natural disasters...in it.

Third Theory of Idiocy is in effect; let's see if that helps drive down the box office for this one.

Now it's just "parody everything you can think of (even if the movie you are spoofing hasn't come out yet)"

I even saw a parody of "Meet the Spartans". A parody of a parody of a few different movies. Why? WHY?!

Each sex joke must be about gay people. If not, a random celebrity or pop culture figure must appear. You must hurt them in the lamest way possible immediately after they say something stupid. In fact, do this even if it is about gay people.

Example:
Guy 1: Hey.
Guy 2: MORE LIKE GAY AM I RITE
Sanjaya: HEY GUYS I CAN SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING
*a fish is thrown at Sanjaya and he is killed, but not before he is able to say*
Sanjaya: I REALLY WAS GAY GUYS

So are they going to do one of these every six months?

They just might. They have the Onion movie coming up, but that's not too much of a parody movie more than it is a comedy. I actually like Superhero Movie, it wasn't complete nonsense and just down-right stupid. It was actually very humorous. I'm actually looking forward to seeing Disaster Movie as well :D

Now, Epic Movie and Meet The Spartans on the other hand...

^ Disaster Movie is made by the same two fellows who gave us Epic Movie and Meet the Spartans, and is in fact a sequel to both films.

I wouldn't place my hopes very high if I were you.

If Disaster Movie is going to be anything like Epic Movie and Meet The Spartans, then it's not gonna be that good. Epic Movie was...well, maybe a little good. Meet The Spartans just had "NO" written all over it. I can't believe I even watched it... but if Disaster Movie ends up like Superhero Movie, we have ourselves a win there.

And are they already releasing their next instalment in the "Epic Movie" Trio? Becuase I thought it took about a year or so to release Meet The Spartans after Epic Movie. Either Disaster Movie is short, or they rushed and made a piece of crap.

Eh, only time will time.
