Battle Network 3 -- what do you think?

My collection of Megaman games was poor. Very poor. Up until at long last I got Megaman for the Gameboy. I was happy. I've slowly built my collection, and when I saw Megaman Battle Network in my local GAME store back when I was in Hampshire, I got it instantly. I was happy. I liked it.

Megaman Battle Network 2 caught my eye in a similar fashion. It has not been advertised over here, so it's probably not as good and loved a game as... Resident Evil. Hmm.

Megaman Battle Network 3. I heard about it more online than I did in a magazine. I heard there were two versions: Blue and White. I heard they were different in their ways. I feel like it's fallen into the Poke-trap, but I was willing to give it the benefit of the doubt.

I played it. I had it and lost it, in a financial mess, currently of which I find myself. *sigh* But I need to know more about it before I jump into the "It's my birthday!" that will hit my parents next month.

What do people think of it? Is it worth my playing through? Should I get the two versions -- is it worth that? Does it have the same feel the other games had?

Should I add it to the collection?

I have to ask. I need to know! My collection currently contains MMBN 1 and 2, MM Zero, MMX (SNES), Megaman 1 for the Gameboy, Megaman and Bass (GBA) and MM Legends. Should the two games join in the fun?

Never played EXE... it looks fun, though. I bought X5 for PC for $5 the other day, and now I'm thinking of getting an emulator for EXE, because X5 is RIDICUOUSLY HARD.
...but it was only $5, so I can't complain!

Poochy almost sounded familier until then. ;)

GINREI! Didn't... *thinks* Hmm. You know, you should get the Megaman Battle Networks... I thought I ordered you to back when I was here, but upon further realisation, I was already gone by then... Did you know I was gone nearly three years? Very strange.

Hmm. So it's a good idea. Is it good plot-wise? I never was one for chip-collecting (I'm currently stuck both 1 and 2 on collecting more chips to get more stuff and move on in the game)... Is it funny? Does it involve a lot of travel? Are the enemies difficult?

ZORA! Long time, no see! Vah-ery long time! You do know your homestead site went down AGES ago, it's so sad because I can't see your lovely bunnie art nomores. I saved a few of 'em, but...
Well! I... dun remember getting orders... But! Emu time it is! I would, you know, do the legal thing and buy a GBA, etc, but as X5 left me with only $6 to my naaaame... hah.

^^ Took some time.

Yeah, with my dead Homestead site went my only link to the Hyrule Battlefield and a lot of other stuff I want back, now, but can't get. So it's somewhat a big shame. I went and opened it up free-wise again but the images, the writing... it's all gone. So that's a bit of a downer.

Anyway I've been drawing new stuff. ^_^ I'll show you sometime.

Well, a GBA is a bit expensive anyway. o.o I had to return my spanking new SP just to get finance to last me. I have one again, now, so that is goodness. ^_^ Emu is so much more... well, cheap, interesting, linkable, etc...

PM me some linkage sites, I PM you some cyuute bunny pics. ^_^

Poocy, let's put it this way: The last words I heard here were 2000-2001: "Give her a month, she'll be back" either by Metal Mario or Omnitarian.

Happy 2003-2004!

;)

I've got the MMBN2 ROM now, which will help me in my sprite comicry I do (I'm the leader of Team Yellow on N-Fans, www.captainn.net ), so that's good, and 37 days to a very special birthday... day. So that'll be fun and nice and stuff. And I can get both games then, probably.

But the actual spending side of things is not as reccommended?

Next job: drawing comics for EarthBound Legal, Nintendo Database (guess who else came back!) and the spriting of the Adam saga and Team Yellow's new goodness stuff. Woo!

I've been a Team Yellow person for two years now. It's so weird!
