Do you agree with these being the best 2D levels?
What other levels would you have included?

10 Pumpkin Zone - Super Mario Land 2
9 World 2 Desert - Super Mario Bros 3
8 Painted Swampland - New Super Mario Bros U
7 World 8 Bowser Castle - New Super Mario Bros Wii
6 Donut Secret House - Super Mario World
5 World 9-8 - New Super Mario Bros Wii
4 World 1-1 - Super Mario Bros
3 Touch Fuzzy, Get Dizzy - Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island
2 Forest Of Illusion - Super Mario World
1 Giant Land - Super Mario Bros 3

I never liked the ghost houses or forest of illusion mazes in SMW much, so they'd definitely be far from my top list.

I'd include 1-1 from each of the SMB trilogy because they're fun and iconic. The rest would be picked from really memorable stages, like the first time the sun attacks you in SMB3.
