What are your top ten fire-type Mons?
What are your least favourite fire-type Mons?

Magmar makes the list just because the Charizard vs Magmar fight from the first season of the Pokemon anime was so good, otherwise his design is a bit weird.

Honorable Mentions: Growlithe, Ponyta line, & Entei.

Least favorite is easily Cinderace's Digimon-reject furry bait ass. Such a terrible design, I've seen Fakemons that look way better.

Is there a person alive that likes Flareon? Flareon can go to H. You don't have to like any of the Eevee boys, of course, but if you like Flareon better than Jolteon, then you gots something wrong with your dumb brain. Who do you think you're fooling. Super-fast Electric Psychic-killer, with his Pin Missile. And he looks awesome. He's the rad lightning coyote pal I always wanted, even before I knew I wanted him. Good boy.

Let's be honest, Vaporeon is the best of the original evolutions anyway. Sure, it's less viable than Jolteon but has a cuter design. And who doesn't need an HM slave with Surf?

Vaporeon is a cutie patootie, I'll give you that, but you shouldn't give up Jolteon to get her. Not when Lapras is on the table.

Lapras is stronger but has one of my least favorite designs in gen 1. Plus, you know, Pikachu is forced right onto you if you picked Yellow, and can be caught in the very first "dungeon" area in the others, so Jolteon loses some value right there.

Plus, if you didn't pick Charmander I think Flareon is the earliest Fire-Type you can snag.

...I'm laying down the law:

Vaporeon > Flareon > Jolteon

Jolteon naturally gets Pin Missile! He's a natural born killer of Psychic types! Talk about everyone getting Pickle-chew--------were you aware that everybody also gets Mewtwo?

You must forget our favorite suicide bomber--the fastest Pokemon in the game--Electrode! He's the one Mewtwo really fears if we're talking Electric. And Pikachu gets Surf, that's a crazy good tool for an Electric to check its weakness. Sorry Boo, Pin Missile is the consolation prize here!

Oh, true. I just think HM and automatically correlate it with trash, but you're right. Even Fly is optimal on a couple Pokemon, Dragonite comes to mind.

Oh, you freaks with your Electrodes. Yeah, super useful a suicide bomb is. Once. How useful is Electrode and his dumb suicide attack against the Elite Four and Gary? Comparatively, how useful is Jolteon's Pin Missile against Gary's Alakazam and Exeggcutor? Not to mention blasting his garbagey Pidgeot, and his stupid Blastoise if you were smart and got a Charmander at the start!

This is folly. This is bad comedy.

Obviously I don't like Flareon over Jolteon, but Flareon makes the list because fire types are a pretty shallow group.

I think Heat Rotom might actually be my favorite fire type. Just a tricky little dude. Think you're gonna 4x effective with ground type attacks, but nay. Levitation, holmes.

Also...I mean, there's no getting around this---------Flareon must smell bad. Just a constant reek of burning hair. Vaporeon probably stinks, too. Wet dog times fish? Yuckers. Jolteon is just better in every way.
