Here's what the theme song was supposed to be. Not a fan, but in an alternate copyright universe, I'm sure it would have become iconic. Someone in the comments suggested it is better at .75 speed, and I agree.

That song actually fits pretty well. It really is better at .75 speed though. Of course, I prefer the actual Zelda theme. Also, I just don't really like it when games use public domain music in general, it feels lazy even if it sounds fine.
