Have you played Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing?
What are your favourite vehicles?
Which are your favourite characters?
The game is a mascot kart racing game, similar to other games in its genre like Mario Kart, Konami Krazy Racers and Crash Team Racing. Players can choose to race as one of 20 characters from various Sega franchises such as Sonic the Hedgehog, Crazy Taxi, and Fantasy Zone. Characters race through various race circuits themed on different Sega franchises and collect power-ups to boost their speed or hamper their opponents. The items have a rock-paper-scissors effect, in which certain items can be used to defend against others. Also, on occasions when players get three of one item, they can choose to fire/activate them at the same time. Additional boost can be earned by successfully executing drifts (with longer drifts earning more boost), or performing tricks while in midair.

Heck yeah I did! I completed every challenge, every achievement! I even went out of my way to play it online, because I liked it enough to play it online!

Oh, man, 'Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing' was a good time. It was exactly what I needed and wanted after crummy old 'Mario Kart Wii' came along and stank up the whole genre. Like so what if I didn't know all the characters-----------you know, I didn't know all the characters in 'Super Smash Bros Melee', either, and I played that forever and a day, too.

No, but I did play the sequel, Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing: Transformed. It's a very strong third place to Mario Kart Double Dash & Mario Kart DS. Honestly, it's probably better than those but my nostalgia makes it tough to be sure.

My favorite character is Sonic of course, but I like using others too.

Normally kart racers are a downgrade from Mario Kart, sometimes noticeably, but Sonic is just as good and way cheaper. I know most of the characters at least in passing, though I'm not particularly fond of a lot of them. Sega doesn't have too deep a bench. That doesn't detract from the experience, though. I still always liked Diddy Kong Racing best.
To me, you are the teacher in the Charlie Brown cartoon.

^^...'Double Dash' is a really good time.

I think that's why I didn't like 'Mario Kart Wii'----------it felt like such a letdown after DD. Replacing the two-racer mechanic with motion controls--------man, get out of here.

^^ Diddy Kong Racing is great too, though the cast isn't the best so that bumps it down a bit for me. I felt like they should've at least put Dixie in. It's still in my top 5 anyway.

^ Yeah, that's a tough trade to get behind lol. Motion controls are very rarely ever tolerable, let alone good. I can think of just a couple games where they are actually fun; Resident Evil 4 (Wii) and Gravity Rush (Vita). Resident Evil 4 is the real surprise, Gravity Rush was designed with them in mind but Resident Evil 4 wasn't, yet they actually improved its gameplay. I'm still impressed by that after all this time.

^When Nintendo ported DKR to the DS, they needed to find replacements for Banjo and Conker, so they stuck in Dixie Kong and Tiny Kong.

'Diddy Kong Racing DS' is a good game.
