You know how Cait Sith says that he's not in his real body, that he's controlling the cat thingy from Shinra HQ? Then why the hell do the Shinra still allow him to tell you all the Shinra secrets? I mean, come on, you've got a guy at HQ who is spying on Cloud and knows everything that's going on in Shinra, and then Cloud seem to know exactly what's going on before it happens. I mean, he knows where all the huge materia is. And besides, he sacrificed himself for the group and the guys at Shinra don't notice a damn thing. I mean, it doesn't take a genious to figure out that you've got a double crosser. Besides, you'd expect they'd be monitoring Cait Sith to hear whatever he discovered, but apparently not. What kind of security do they have in there, anyway?

*Soldier enters Cait Sith's room*
Soldier: Why hello there, Cait Sith, what are you doing?
Caith Sith (controlling the cat and talking to the group) Hey, let me tell you about the latest Shinra secret. Apparently Rufus is about to - (realizing Soldier is there) Why, nothing, how about you?
Soldier: Not much, just routine. Carry on.
*Soldier exits*
Cloud (speaking from wherever the hell they are): Whew, that was close!
Cait Sith: Not really. It happens all the time.

Cait Sith is a robot controlled by Reeve. At first, he's a hardcore spy. You remember he's the reason why the Turks always tend to pop up. Then Reeve sees the light of day and decides to fight Shinra too.

By the time he completely joins the team, he Shinra is falling apart anyway.

Well thanks for telling me. Now I won't have to find out myself by playing the game!
