^^^I went to college only about 30 minutes from the Iowa state line, yet never bothered just driving up there for whatever reason.

Re: How many different countries have you been to?
I was in Iowa for a youth group trip forever ago. We were at UI and didn't do anything that wasn't at the event. Pretty much everything I remember about driving in places that weren't Iowa City was what you'd expect from Iowa: farms and not much else.I am nobody wrote: ↑Sun Feb 04, 2018 7:01 pmHas anyone been to Iowa? So far it's a total whiff on the lists posted, even though most of the states around it are pretty common.
Poor Iowa.

I've been to the Netherlands, Germany, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore (iirc, this may just be a city state... maybe not a country) and the USA.
On my wishlist: Hungary, Austria, Finland, Sweden, Norway, the UK, France and Antarctica... before it melts!!

...i forgot about Ohio ._.
There are so many places I'd love to visit! Germany (because of my minor in college) and Italy (because squeege) are at the top of the list.

In chronological order it would be Colombia (my home country), Cuba, Germany, Spain and Mexico (where I currently reside). I've never been to the US or any other English-language country, shame on me.

One of the chaperones on this trip has been to 49 countries and 49 states! I'm so jealous!

I've been to five:
Canada
United Kingdom (England and Wales)
Ireland
Germany
Austria
And I had a layover in Amsterdam once, but I'm not going to count that.

Re: How many different countries have you been to?
^...hmmm. I went to Germany on the class trip my junior year, and we spent a day in Munich, but I don't remember much of anything. There was the Frauenkirche, and then a church that'd been partially destroyed during the war, and so they scraped the rubble away, left the roof off and made it into a war memorial instead.
...that's all. It's been twenty years-----------whole trip seems more like a crazy dream, now, than an actual experience from my youth.

Re: How many different countries have you been to?
Let’s go again! Sounds like we both need an updated trip. I’d love to see more of Germany. I feel like I just dipped my toe in it.Booyakasha wrote: ↑Thu Jul 19, 2018 7:58 am^...hmmm. Cool. Pack your bags-----------the two of us can knock over my store with kitchen knives and slingshots, then make for the Canadian border. Come over to my place in twenty minutes; I've got the scary Hallowe'en masks and balaclavas all ready.
With your brains and my beauty, we'll be unstoppable.

Perf! Omw. Later, Michigan. I’ll bring the fake tattoos and balloon animal making kit. Gotta hustle for some cash.Booyakasha wrote: ↑Thu Jul 19, 2018 9:42 amCool.
