Yahoo is giving 100 megs of email space now, so I don't care as much about getting a Gmail account now. I'll never use up all of the 170 total megs (counting website and briefcase space) that i'm give, so why bother.

Still, it would be neat to make some software that uses Gmail as a harddrive addon.

Sounds ok. I probably won't get it. Plus I lik deleting messages. Especially SPAM, it feels like stabbing a telemarketer in the heart.
Ummm...yeah

However, we're committed to making Gmail available to as many people in as many languages as possible. And Gmail accounts can already be used to read and send email in most languages (even Klingon).

Woo!

Oh, hey, can I have one?

I've noticed that GMAIL is starting to attract A LOT of SPAM

I spent over half an hour last night cleaning the 400 or so junk messages (that weren't filtered) from the SMBhq Gmail accounts

I haven't noticed that... and that's what I'm using for my TGA account too.

I honestly don't know why people go so ga-ga over g-mail. I use my ISP's e-mail with Outlook Express, and I have near infinite storage, because it's all on my PC.

^ (a) You can do that with Google too.
(b) I have at the moment 2242MB of storage on Google's webspace... and I can access it anywhere, even when I'm not on my personal computer. Try doing that with Outlook Express. ;)

Gmail PWNZ all other internet-based mail, and maybe even trumps Outlook. The grouping of conversations is a beautiful thing.

2 gig of storage on Yahoo! Mail now. Gmail = owned.
Why is it drug addicts and computer afficionados are both called users?

The infinity might have been. But right now, it's at 2,295MB per user.
