I have just a plain ol' stud in my left ear. Hardly noticable.

Two standard size earrings in my right lobe, one 16GA ring in my left lobe and a standard size stud in my left upper cartilidge. As soon as the latter finishes healting I'm stretching it to 16GA and putting in a curved barbell/horseshoe with spikes on the end in it. Also thinking of retiring my left lobe piercing, IMO the ring doesn't look that good and studs/plugs are pointless.

Thought about getting a number of other things pierced when I have time/money.

Three in each ear.

Haven't used 'em for four years, so they're pretty closed now. Though I can still wedge earrings in them if I tried, and had a high threshhold for pain.

None.

However, I find the eyebrow-bar thing pretty stupid.

Plus I have a fear of, if I did get a piercing, it getting caught on something.

Right now I only got my ears pierced, and I'm planning on getting my tongue, belly botton, and bottom lip pierced later. Right now I'm waiting for the right time to get them pierced.

I have pierced earlobes, and I'm considering getting them double-pierced sometime. The procedure's absolutely painless if the person who does it is competent--they just attach the earring and its backing to a stapler-like thing and clip it on. I barely felt a poke.
Never really saw the point myself. Every time I think about getting one I get a mental picture of it getting caught in something and ripped out.
It's almost impossible for an earring to "rip out." If a hoop gets snagged, the clasp pops open very easily. If a post gets snagged, the backing gets yanked off. Either way, the earring almost always comes out without damaging any skin.

I just wouldn't be able to deal with getting my tongue pierced. How are you supposed to eat during the first few weeks?
