What were some shows that had episodes that were banned from airing for whatever reason?

I'll start with an easy one: Electric Soldier Porygon from Pokemon.

There's the episode of Pokemon with the Jamesboobs as well. And the Tentacruel episode that aired once and then got pulled from reruns because of 9/11.

BUT FOOTAGE FROM THAT EPISODE WAS STILL IN THE OPENING SONG. I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST MADE UP FOOTAGE FOR THE LONGEST TIME BECAUSE I NEVER SAW THAT EPISODE. I WAS LIKE "why is tentacruel in the opening he's like not even in the show"

I remember watching the Tentacruel episode when it aired, never noticed that they pulled it from reruns actually.

I never saw that Tentacruel episode but I want to now. I swear I saw the banned gun one but I read it never aired. Also I think the Christmas Jynx episode got banned because of overly sensitive idiots finding problems where none exist, projecting their own issues. I also watched the Porygon one and I was afraid the whole time.

They had it as a comic in Nintendo Power too.

Which only made it all awkward.

I looked some up AND I REMEMBER WATCHING THIS EPISODE OF TINY TOONS


The gang literally gets wasted and it was meant to teach kids the dangers of getting drunk.

It was titled "One Beer."

And the Dratini episode.

I remember seeing the Tentacruel episode on tv, but I was never "up to speed" with Pokémon, so either I saw the initial airing, or they did re-run it at least once...

Either way, Indigo League is on Netflix, along with the Tentacruel episode.
