2016 was such a mess that I forgot many of these came out last year, like Zootopia.

Jungle Book got a nomination for something? Nice. It won't win but I thoroughly enjoyed that movie.

Can't wait for half the panel to be like "I didn't watch all the animated movies but my daughter loved Zootopia so I'm voting for it :) "

Oscars. Can't wait to not watch it.

The Oscar nominated film Suicide Squad

I've only seen two of the best picture nominees (Arrival and Hell or High Water) and neither of them has a real chance of winning. It's likely gonna be La La Land winning everything but I could see Moonlight with a potential upset. Which would be neat because of everything nominated I think I've seen most universal praise for that.

Also there's a significant lack of Sing Street in the original song category. "Drive It Like You Stole It" and "The Riddle of the Model" are infinitely better than that Justin Timberlake trash.

Suicide freaking Squad got a nom, but D-Piddy got jack, & the internet is not happy.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Well, having seen images of the hair and makeup from Suicide Squad, I'm not too surprised it got a nomination. If not just for Margot Robbie.

Everybody knows the Oscars are a popularity contest.

Except no one liked Suicide Squad.

And the movies that win Oscars are rarely the most popular movies.
